What we set
Signing you in. A session cookie keeps you signed in securely between pages. It's essential. Someo can't work without it, and it expires when your session does.
Keeping you safe. A security (CSRF) cookie protects forms and actions from being triggered by other sites pretending to be you. Also essential.
Remembering small preferences. Things like your theme choice may be stored in your browser so the site looks right when you return.
Understanding how Someo is used
With your permission, we use Google Analytics (through Firebase) to see which pages are visited and where people get stuck. It sets its own cookies and sends anonymous usage data to Google. It never receives your name, email, chats, traits or who you matched with. We ask once, and you can change your answer here at any time.
What we don't do
No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking. No selling of browsing data. Beyond the analytics you choose above, we don't load third-party trackers, and we don't follow you around the internet.
Your choices
Essential cookies have no switch, Someo can't work without them. Analytics is off until you say yes, and the switch above turns it off again. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings at any time, though without the session cookie you won't be able to stay signed in.
